Lambent

I was inspired to create this painting in Abstract Expressionism style after I took an online course to learn about this process. I was delighted to learn fundamentals of design, along with techniques that allowed me to freely and spontaneously create my design. These techniques range from using various brushstrokes along with calligraphy, splattering and sgraffito to name a few. Now I very much enjoy painting with watercolors using these techniques as the results are truly unique, and a surprise event to me! Additionally each viewer is inspired to look and find shapes, and stories within the painting that is completely different from another viewer! I find this level of engagement with my abstract piece to be very exciting and empowering to my audience everywhere. I am looking forward to creating many more abstract paintings! Thank you!
