Golden Dawg Blues was inspired by an online creative challenge called ICAD (Index Card A Day) Challenge hosted annually by Daisy Yellow Art. The provided prompt word was WIND CHIME. I noodled some ideas in my head then thought: How fun it is to blow tunes across a Coke bottle! You have to get the air flow just right so the hollow, chime-like song sounds good. It only seemed appropriate to have a hound dog making the tunes. A webinar host wearing a "cool dude" hat inspired the hat I created for the dawg.
