Dahlia Delight

I captured these delightful red-violet dahlias the day before fall frost took them from my gardens for yet another season. I painted seated on a blanket laid on the grass to give the dahlias their deserving prominence created by the worms-eye view. These are my favorite annual flower worthy of the extra work of digging them up every year, overwintering them, and then replanting them after the last frost in Spring.
