Paintbrush in Bloom

This is a watercolor with collage painting. The background mountain scene of Rabbit Ears Pass near Steamboat Spgs, CO is done with watercolor. Using rice paper that I had stained with watercolor I used a collage technique adding the flowers to the foreground. My goal was to give the idea of texture in the Indian Paintbrush, making it more interesting.
