Spring's Promise

I painted a picture after taking photos in a park in downtown Toronto one spring, but then cut out a section of the picture because I needed a scrap of paper! When I found the damaged painting in my collection this January, I decided to paint it again. Of course, being watercolor, it didn't turn out exactly the same. But I love the glow I achieved with a limited palette and mostly wet-on-wet technique. FYI, we had family living with us at the time so I used the basement furnace room as my studio!
