The Canyonlands of Utah have inspired many of my recent landscape watercolor paintings. I've been experimenting with color and was drawn to the shapes and shadows in this scene adding my own creative color. The design of rocks in the foreground guide you to the large dramatic rock in the distance. My love for these majestic stone Cathedrals shows in this series of paintings.
